We are pleased to announce that Albert Kangas, NewCore’s General Manager and COO, will speak at the 2013 MTA Annual Convention and Trade Show, hosted by the Minnesota Telecom Alliance (MTA). The event is being held March 25 to 27, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency and DoubleTree Suites in Minneapolis.

Albert will lead a presentation titled “Wi-Fi Offloading and 4G Trends”, discussing how Wi-Fi offload strategies are truly gaining momentum with carriers. The presentation will discuss the possibility of operators using landline networks for mobile traffic offloading via Wi-Fi networks, what major carriers are doing regarding Wi-Fi offloading and possible strategies to address the bottlenecks created by the growth in mobile devices. Kangas will also discuss what 4G trends are on the horizon for 2013.
