Albert Kangas has been selected to speak on a panel titled “FirstNet - A Look at the Next-Generation Public Safety Network” at the 2013 IP Possibilities Conference and Expo. Kangas will join a panel of telecommunications experts to explore the developments and evolution of FirstNet and how it may impact rural communities and businesses. In his remarks, Kangas will provide critical background about FirstNet and describe the challenges faced in delivering affordable, ubiquitous broadband to public safety officials. The session is slated for Thursday, April 18 at 2:15pm.
